Is this the only movie Disney has ever made that included gays?

No, there have definitely been some implicitly gay characters, most of which have actually been villains.

There isn't a point here besides you don't like gays.

You have no basis for this, other than it makes you feel better to attempt the bigot card

No, Mickey. I want media companies to be honest and forthright about their intentions. Not hide their true motives.

You seem dismissive of vile parts of the bible. Yet as a whole, it is the entire word of God.

You seem dismissive of the Old Testament as it suits you because of the New Word. Yet I'm sure you will still welcome the Old Testament when it suits you.
I'm not dismissive of anything in the Bible. It's all the inspired word of God.

I do believe there are different purposes for what God has revealed. For instance, the ceremonial laws were given to Israel to govern their religious worship, set them apart as holy from other nations, and (most importantly) to point as a guide or signpost to the coming messiah. When Jesus obeyed the law perfectly and became the once-for-all sacrifice, those figurative sacrifices of bulls and goats were no longer needed, like a sign post after you reached the destination.

quote:

Why have favorite bible verses when the whole bible was inspired by the breath of God?
The point of favorite verses is to have ones that make a bigger impression or imparts some truth that provides joy or comfort. It's not a matter of importance but subjective sentiment. A biblical hermeneutic is one that takes the whole of scripture as context for interpretation, not just the parts that fit your own belief system. We are to have our understanding be shaped by the scriptures, not shape the scriptures according to our prior understanding.

You called it a form of sexual deviancy

So either wear being bigoted or shut the frick up.

I just don't understand why you can't do what my sister did with Nightmare Before Christmas and simply watch the movie ahead of time if this type of thing concerns you so much.

Dude this was a problem right as I was a kid and not for much after. There is something called Google where you can read a brief summary even without spoiling it what kind subject matter it contains. This isn’t an issue in this day and age so long as you’re an attentive parent and not a lazy frick.

Lolz you're sensitive, a non-normative state is a deviancy from the norm.

What a tard. Language is hard for you.

You're pretending its fine because normal heterosexuality is fine. Here's the thing: homosexuality is actually not the default state of nature.

Nor are almost any Disney movies, nor is your life. The default state of nature is chaos and getting eaten by lions. That’s how most of nature works, we simply defy it. Someone who really wants the natural order wants the fall of civilization. Like in Avatar, when this is pointed out to the villain, he actually agrees with the hero:

“The natural order is disorder.”

And if its all about consenting adults then why must there be a targeted grooming effort with short films and drag queen story hours?

Yes that is in fact a major deviancy from the norm.

You just tried to normalize homosexuality when everyone knows it is not the norm.

Why is “the norm” exactly a good thing? In the Middle East, it’s the norm to beat the shite out of your wives and put them in a beekeeper costume. In China its the norm to abort baby girls. In the 1800s it was the norm for you to lose most of your children after childbirth. Norms aren’t necessarily a good thing.

Before your horse is so high that you need supplemental oxygen, you should probably know that there have been several discoveries lately of dinosaurs depicted on pottery that’s thousands of years old. The reason that is fascinating is that we only figured out what they looked like in the last couple of hundred years. True science is humble enough not to assume they understand everything.

You know open racists used this line of reasoning to forbid interracial relationships, right?

You are using normal to mena average.

The short film doesn't portray gays as average of super common. Its just portrays them.
Half the people in Pixar movies aren't gay, so they aren't being portrayed as normal.
