Now can Disney do an inspiring tale about how hard work and an entrepreneurial spirit can lead to success for oneself as well as providing needed goods and/or services for the community as well as jobs?

They did. It was referred to on the first page.

Wrong

None of what you said is the norm.

In your mind, all parents should forgo their own beliefs to appease those of less than 1% because, well, reasons and such.

You don’t have a valid argument other than believe like I do or you’re dumb

Can you clarify your earlier post? You don't think there should be any gay characters in any cartoon or animated film at all?

Jesus Christ you’re an idiot. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Nobody is asking you to forgo your beliefs.

Lol. So if it was Joe White and Prince Charming (which is what this short film portrays) then its all good because homosexuality is totes the norm?

You're pretending its fine because normal heterosexuality is fine. Here's the thing: homosexuality is actually not the default state of nature.

Sorry not sorry.

It’s normal for plenty of people...

If ya don’t like it, don’t watch it. Simple as that.

first pixar movie I will not give a penny to.

It’s not film, it’s more of a short clip. Do really think Pixar is going to make a full live action movie where the central premise is on homosexuality when they’re worried about Chinese cash? They merely throw bones to the LGBT communities with scenes that can easily be edited out for their international releases.

What is the default state of nature?

Is marriage natural or an accepted tradition?
For that matter, is divorce natural?
Is government the default state of nature or an accepted tradition?

Nature is a pretty generic term. Yet it precludes almost all of human civilization.

They don’t like to be reminded that marrying their second wife after a no-fault divorce is a one-way ticket to Hell. But it’s the gays that are destroying the sanctity of marriage.

I genuinely feel sorry for your children. Unfortunately, they do not get to choose their parents and they got stuck with one that prefers to have Disney approach difficult real life issues for them.

You just tried to normalize homosexuality when everyone knows it is not the norm.

You’re openly wishing to exclude millions of children to push your own twisted agenda.

You’re a sick frick. Does your wife know what kind of degenerate you are?

This will be a very unpopular opinion here, and JFTR, my kids won't be watching it, but there may be kids that this may help. I know of a few people that have kids at young ages that are already thinking their kids might not be giving them any biological grandkids. For some parents that are in this situation, it may not be the worst thing to let them watch. Again though we are parents and can control whether or not our kids will watch it and I can imagine disney and pixar are certain that a number of children won't be watching it, which is why it's 9 minutes long and not a full length feature film.

Exactly. It’s just going to be on Disney+ so feel free to skip over it. Do you get pissed at Netflix for having A Clockwork Orange on it’s streaming service? If you don’t get pissed about that, then you shouldn’t get pissed about this.

The point that has been entirely ignored by both of you is that he, through Disney, has made that decision for his children because he is in agreement with the way Disney has chosen to portray homosexuality. It’s fricking lazy
Whiffing on the point... again.

I should not be forced to parent the same way because Disney forced my hand by making a movie that is marketed towards children and then throws in a very mature topic like homosexuality once the children are already engaged in the movie
You're not forced to do anything.

My issue is not with gay people. My issue is with Disney making decisions for parents.
oh, we've reached the blatant lying portion of the thread, I see.

So since your issue is Disney making decisions and not gay people, you rail just as hard against Disney portraying straight couples, right? Either you say yes or you're lying. Your call.

Shut the frick up, pussy.

A heterosexual relationship in the eyes of a child is not the same as that of a homosexual one.

Quit pushing your bullshite and just admit that you do not want people thinking differently from you.

Portraying non-normative sexual relationships as normal is propagandizing. Doing so on a platform with a targeted audience of young children is inappropriate.

You realize this is true, but are willfully obtuse.
