It's hilarious to see posts like this from the prog brigade. Everything but skits like these are offensive to them. Confederate statues, monuments to Founding Fathers, Dave Chappelle's anti-trans comedy, JK Rowling and everything in-between. The only acceptable targets are white, right-of-center Christians. You can't desire a Raymond Cocteau dystopia for everything and everyone else and then call conservatives snowflakes.

Portraying Jesus as a twerking sideshow, Mary as a stripper, Joseph as a pimp (all in a poorly executed performance btw) and gang raping a cancer patient seem like things that would be off putting to a reasonable person.

Just watched the video. It wasn’t funny. But it also seemed to be about how goofy try-hard Karens are trying too hard to be cool by being late the scene with hip hop culture.
The skit was not about an attempt at portraying a nativity scene. It was about how society tries so hard to be edgy that they steer so far away from why some traditions are revered.
But snowflakes will of course melt.

If the skits were targeting any minority group, you'd be whining and skyscreaming. And you'd probably be calling for actual violence against those responsible. You don't get to claim speech is violence when it suits you and then act like you're a beacon of free expression when you despise the group being made fun of.

I'd bet dollars to donuts this was written AFTER Seth Rogen and Sara Silverman got raked over the coals for Santa Inc. This had nothing to do with an attempt to be funny, but merely a big frick YOU to those who bashed that show.
Most of this entertainment stopped even trying to entertain a while ago. It's why far too often you hear things like, "Well...this pissed off the right people." Um...why are you making entertainment with the goal to piss off anyone, instead of entertaining people?
