There were hints, as with everything. I see flag filters on profile pics, hear everyone telling me how I'm supposed to think, and that give me immediate red flags. I am retired now, hut at the time I drove cross country as a trucker. I saw that most people dying were elderly, pre existing condition folks. I was 65 but healthy, washed my hands frequently, avoided folks coughing or sneezing, used paper towels to open doors in the public. I drove all over the Midwest and South, came in contact with fellow drivers that drove across country, but never felt like I needed the shot.
Then as time progressed, restaurants and fast food establishments started not allowing entrance without a mask. So I grudgingly purchased a mask so I could eat, but realized just how foolish it was to think a mask was going to stop a virus from spreading.
Eventually my company required shots for their drivers. I refused and took early retirement. I did eventually catch Covid but I've had colds that were worse. Glad I never took the jab. I still have friends who get the regular shot updates and are horrified that I haven't gotten the shots.

No, the sensible people felt like there was X% risk of dying without the vaccine, Y% risk of dying with the vaccine, and Z% risk of dying because of the vaccine. Z is by far the lowest number for most of us here, but that's the one you hang your hat on. That is where your arguments hinge, and that's the worst logic. Those of us who thought that for us, that X > (Y + Z), had the best logic. This may not be true for 1-30yo's, but that's not me. We also had no desire whatsoever to force others to have the vaccine, to have endless boosters, or to restrict movement. NO we can't trust Fauci and Pfizer, but they weren't the only ones out there. And YES I believe ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine most likely help.

That didn't take the vaccine? Or took the vaccine against their will?

I'm curious of the number of people that didn't take it, but said they did, just to save their job? Or even the reverse of that, the number of people that took it, but are now saying they didn't, just so they can get a date with someone who wants to have a family later?
