Head coaches can already be hesitant to go to a place because of a schools AD/President, and being too involved. Head coaches will become very hesitant to go to any school where they’ll also have to worry about appeasing a state governor, and having him being too involved in an area he knows absolutely nothing.

its still #1, but became a helluva lot harder to convince any "big fish" (kiffin, lanning, cignetti) to leave their current jobs...hell im 90% sure miss. would turn over the keys to the gov mansion to kiffin TODAY....makes it MUCH less likely for him to walk away from that...

How certain are you that SW would have a move without a boot in the arse? The boosters may have provided that boot without Landry entering the picture. We'll never know. But as other posters have said, doing it pubicly is the act of a fool. And so completely in character for Landry. His constant chasing of empty headlines is strongly suggestive of a micro-penis.

Give it a rest. LSU is dumpster fire because of lefties. If anything, Landry just made it easier for us to hire a good coach by adding some leadership. Besides, all coaches know they answer to the donors and the governor. ESPECIALLY IN THIS NIL ERA.
