Yes, quite often. Not necessarily just for Trump to win, but that God guide our nation no matter who won, and to help it to turn back to him and serve him.

I pray for this great nation daily, no matter who the President is or what crisis we may be facing.

Yes and it was the first election I've ever prayed for. I've got young kids and this world as it stands scares the hell out of me for them. The Don and mostly those who suport him give me hope for a better tomorrow. To see that many ppl not stir crap, just go out and vote for "good" gives me hope. As I watched those states turn red, then red, then another red I felt like we the people who believe in good made it clear that nigh! Really this win was something special for me.

Roger, it's not arrogant at all. You're characterizing God with man-like traits; He's so much bigger than that.

There is nothing under the sun that is not important to God. No prayer request is too small for Him. He already knows what's in our hearts and minds, and He longs for us to come to Him to talk things over.

When 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray without ceasing, it is instructing us to make prayer a habit--to not consider any situation too big or too small to take to the Lord.

....and he sided with Donald Trump

God's talent pool is littered with moral imperfection. See Moses, David, Samson, Peter, Paul on and on.

Yes sbr, everything that happens is somehow God's will.

8 years of Obama = God's will.
Obamacare happening = God's will.
Children that get raped = God's will.
Whether you choose to pray or not pray = God's will.
The massive rise of Islam and their ever growing population and spread of their beliefs = God'a will.

Mysterious ways, etc.

And He also drowned a few thousand Egyptian soldiers. What's your point?

It's the epitome of arrogance. Despite ignoring the plights and misery of the majority of humans who have ever lived, I'M so special that I expect God to impact an election in my country in the most comfortable society which has ever existed.

Billions of humans lived and died in agony, history never remembering that they ever existed, but God might just answer MY prayer for Donald Trump to win the 2016 US Presidential election.

It is the absolute height of both arrogance and credulity. How otherwise intelligent adults cope with the cognitive dissonance is beyond me.

Wasn't that "vengeful, need a sacrifice" God? Like pre-Jesus?

God had Donald Trump elected because enough people prayed for it.

One wonders how such an argument would go over if presented to the parents of a child who died of leukemia on Tuesday evening.

Old Testament God, he got a new outlook on life after he watched himself incarnate get executed on a cross in 1st century Jerusalem.

Or something like that

I don't know if God exists or not, but to pray for either Hillary or Trump to win (not to pray for them as people) is just mind-boggling.

"Hey God! You put hundreds of millions if not million of better people in this planet, but forget about that, would YOU please allow Trump or Hillary win. I know they are both narcissistic, dishonest, and vengeful, all traits you dislike, but please answer my prayer."
