If the reason was efficiency and cost saving, the clown show going on right now has been more costly. And Petite Laundry has entered the conversation!!

What are you talking about? Orleans Parish criminal court hasn’t been shut down. Unless you mean them being closed tomorrow….because tomorrow is observed as the federal and state holiday since the 4th falls on a Saturday.

Is this retard referring to the civil and criminal court clerk position being combined instead of two separate positions?

Sounds just like some half-information lefty bullshite. They always get half the story then turn to outrage without even knowing what actually happened

Pretty sure op is referring to the 3 judge positions in New Orleans they removed (out of 11). If anything they need more judges in New Orleans

Right. This will make it harder to prosecute crime and create backlogs. They cut the DA’s resources too and now several prosecutors are out of jobs . Of course, the north Louisiana bible thumping crowd that pushed this legislation through did so because they would love nothing more to see more violent crime in New Orleans so they can point and laugh.
