I’m guessing after seeing black folk vote the way they always do, the Candace Owens huckster crowed has quieted some? I’d wager the John James loss in Michigan, where he lost Detroit to a privileged white woman was the nail in the coffin.

One day the gravy train will run dry and blacks will pay a heavy toll.

You can’t expecf to win blacks all in one or two elections. You’ve got to continue pushing out conservative views.

Blexit will happen but not for the reasons people think.

And, by happen, I mean a shift substantially away from utter domination to more normal vote distributions.

It will happen for one simple reason. They aren't going to remain the favored minority. Hell, they're not the favored minority NOW but they haven't fully figured it out yet.

In the future, Hispanics will be to blacks what blacks have been to Asians for the last 40 years.

I think the problem with that is the 30% of Hispanics that vote Republican. Democrats can’t count on them like they can for the black vote.

Blexit was always a troll. Candace Owens has capitalized on the republicans (whites) who are petrified of being called racists.

She’s a fraud, anytime she’s asked to actually articulate conservative position she fails miserably.

More of a grift rather than a troll, but otherwise yeah.

Agreed, she is a very low IQ individual. She also ran off Kanye. She needs to just STFU.

Your approach to this is all wrong, and seems mostly fueled by your dislike of Candace Owens. Which is whatever (I don't really care about her one way or the other).

Identity politics as deeply ingrained as leftist voting patterns in the black demographic takes MUCH longer than some spokespeople, a catchy slogan, and one election cycle. This is a battle we'll be fighting for a long time. I was here before Candace Owens and I plan to be around long after she's faded from the current limelight intensity.

So I wouldn't treat John James losing as expected in MI as some weird victory dance.

Do I think there was/is something to BLEXIT? Yes

Have I always thought it was overstated? Yes.

Obtw, I don't think Candace Owens is a huckster. I think she's honestly had a change of mindset. I've watched her speak a few times, and she comes across as sincere.

Do I think some of the conservative blacks, on YouTube for example, are simply pandering in order to make some cash? Sure, some of them are. But I also think most of them are on the level. Funny how almost all of those black conservatives are men, but I have a theory about that, too. Politically speaking, there seems to be a growing chasm between black men & black women.

I’m curious to see it with Trump on the ballot before making an assessment.

It’s not surprising to me at all that they didn’t vote for congressional GOP candidates.

The black voting block stems from the Dem’s influence through churches. Unless that changes, I don’t see any real progress being made. Sorry.

Its disappointing for sure. The culture has to change first. What good does voting for a small government conservative do when you are still trapped in government dependency? Someone else is gonna get that tax cut...someone else is gonna start that business...someone else is gonna have more opportunity.

Blacks apparently dont believe they are can start successful businesses, get great jobs and thrive in a great economy. IMO the only venue conservatives have left is to stop apologizing, stop making excuses for black people and attack the culture of victimhood with full force.

What are you sorry for? And if anything, Dems DGAF about black churches. After all, they're Christian establishments, and leftists ain't down with Jesus freaks.

They don't have to sully their hands with churches. Just get enough black leaders to spout the "GOP is racist" line, and their work is done.

Black churches provide infrastructure to the DNC. Souls to polls? That didn’t come out of thin air. Hell, most of inner city GOTV fueled by black churches. The Dems have had 40-50 years of their tentacles in these churches. Black matriarchs overwhelming attend these churches and tell their younger family how to vote.
