Trump earlier said “there hasn’t been a president since maybe Abraham Lincoln who has done more for black people”
Biden called back to that statement by saying “Abe Lincoln over here (points to trump) is the most racist president ever”

I think Trump recognized the awkwardness of Biden’s delivery of the joke fell flat and decided to press him on it. Led to one of Bidens worst moments of the night.
