I stopped shopping at Dicks years ago, so this just means ill tell more people to stop shopping at Dicks.

I wonder if they will still sell the ammo.

Dick's and Academy sell PoS ARs anyway. No major loss and just more business for locally owned gun stores.

That being said, Dick's lost all of my future business for anything else they sell.

Well, boohoo.

For every “customer” like you they lose they gain 2 like me.

But too bad we don’t have one in my area.

Dick's sold the Parkland shooter a shotgun in 2017, which they are quick to point out was not used in the shooting.

However, from the CEO's letter, in part it states

"but if common sense reform is enacted and even one life is saved, it will have been worth it".

By that logic the next shooting that's carried out with a shotgun will have them not selling shotguns anymore and adding banning shotguns to the list of "common sense" reforms to the 2nd amendment. They have lost all my future business.

I believe post sandy hook they pulled them from Dicks specifically and then only sold them at Field & Stream (?) stores. It is my understanding they will cease selling them there as well.
