Something is seriously wrong with Maine polling.
Collins trailed in every single poll in 2020, often times by wide margins, and she won by 8.

BS poll nobody's ever heard of.

Would be bad to lose her, but not horrible. She is only slightly better than Murkowski.
Collins loss would be the most painful loss of any republican senator. She is the furthest right possible out of all of the 53 republican senators. If you disagree with that stop, parse it, and think about it. It is true.
We could lose Cruz and get that seat back six years later. If we lose Collins we might lose that seat for 30 years.

Did Collins face a GOP Primary challenger?

President Hillary approves of these polls.

If we are going to lose a senate seat held by republicans that up for reelection this year then this would be the seat . She is not much better than a democrat.
But she does count towards our majority...

Democrats love Nazis as long as they're anti-Trump, apparently.

Better a RINO than a commie/nazis in jackass clothing.

Exactly. In Maine I would prefer a republican who votes against the party every single time over a democrat who votes with the republican party every single time. Any sensible conservative, MAGA or not, would feel the same. We need her to caucus with us and vote with us as much as she can without risking the fricking seat! And that is what Susan Collins has done like a champ!

It’s kinda hard to believe that a predominantly white populated state with no major cities is as blue as it is.

Not really. Most of SW Maine is full of Boston transplants. Portland is within commuting distance of Boston, only an hour away from the northern part of the city.

I've been in Maine since last Friday (Currently in the ATL airport on my way home) and while its completely anecdotal, there are Platner signs absolutely everywhere. Even extremely rural Washington county places like Jonesport and Machias has Platner signs in front of most houses and businesses. I've never seen anything like it in that part of Maine
