Trump didn't simply choose not to volunteer. He actively scammed his way out of serving because he's a bitch.

I was curious and internet searched it ….

quote:

The Navy's urinalysis policy requires each command to test a minimum of 10 percent of all personnel assigned every month. Commands may test up to 40 percent each month at the CO's discretion. In addition, each command is required to conduct one (1) annual unit sweep of all personnel assigned.

THE ROLE OF THE UPC
The UPC manages the command’s urinalysis program and is an advisor to the Commanding Officer on all matters relating to urinalysis, including Navy policy and related procedures, collection, and transportation of urinalysis samples. OPNAVINST 5350.4C requires UPCs be designated in writing by the commanding officer.

I’d bet these folks hear more than a couple of bribes during their tenures.
Probably makes for some interesting stories.

He was an intelligence officer. Urinalysis stuff - It's a collateral duty. All officers get collateral duties.

Another trash post about DeSantis.

No wonder some people on this board worship Trump.

Out of all of the things to hate that Trump has done in his life, this is one I really don't care about. It was a shite war we had no business being in.

The only decent one we really had in my lifetime, who happened to NOT be a lawyer, decided he wanted to be one in the middle of his governorship.

That doesn’t sound like a job, more of a list of responsibilities.

Also, I don’t buy the “controlled opposition” meme either.

That isn't why he faked bone spurs, though. Even if it was, he's still a coward.

Then they wonder why people aren't attracted to their message.

When all you have is negativity on potential candidates, you deserve no respect.

Trump can't run on his record, he has to try to strip others down

Just like a Democrat.

It's sad seeing MAGA turn a Naval Officer's duty into a joke.

A urinalysis coordinator is an extra duty in the Navy (known as a collateral duty) that one picks up to make their Fitrep/eval look better. It's a high vis collateral in a command that, if managed well, will break you out better than the other sailors you are being ranked against.

Also...a UPC typically doesn't watch the sailors pee in a cup. That's what the observers are for. The UPC handles the paperwork.

MAGA = working class populism. They hate everyone and don't understand economics.

So you would have just accepted being drafted to fight a war you didn't believe in?

Using the draft for Nam was one of this country's darkest times. Using it during WW2 was understandable but it was BS to institute it for Nam. It was modern slavery.

That's why I don't care about the whole draft dodger narrative with regards to anyone.

Trump could literally take a shite on some of these people's kitchen table and they would still love him.

JAG but anyone whose served knows NCOs and officers are assigned to monitor drug screens. That's basically what this is but stupid motherfrickers want to make fun of a guy's service.

Pfft, some patriots.

We should be honoring the men who got out of that shite war, not criticizing them.

Imagine, in 2023, thinking that fighting in the fricking Vietnam war was some kind of honorable or macho endeavor.

Yep.

I've had to watch people pee in a cup on multiple occasions while serving in the Navy.

You sound like John Kerry and Jane Fonda.

My uncle avoided the draft by enlisting in the Navy. He served in Vietnam but he did it from the relative safety of a warship.
