How can our resident leftist-slugs go against women and claim moral ground?

They can’t and are pure filth.

The Orange Bowl is in the championship rotation. There are many schools pushing to get rid of or reform the NCAA bonehead rules. Once these athletes start collecting royalties for the use of their name/image, the NCAA will lose a ton of money and their power over these athletes. The NCAA is slowly starting to fade away. Whether it will be good or bad for college sports, we will just have to wait and see.

The NCAA has nothing to do with college football bowls or the playoffs.

That's true, but they they have relationships with sponsors for big $ and if sponsors would be negatively affected because of bowl game issues with crappy locations affecting attendance and ratings, then there would be a big ripple effect in which sponsors could pull out during the regular season costing the NCAA big bucks.

Good for Florida for having a good and smart governor that doesn't take shite from these dumb, scumbag Democrats. Wish my state had someone like that.

Don’t mistake going along with something with agreeing with it.

The overwhelming majority of politicians who “agree” with this nonsense are just fearful of NOT doing so. As someone else said, very few adults lack the capacity (or are so blinded by ideology) to understand how ridiculous this is.

i know you know bowl games aren't official NCAA events, so they wouldn't be affected by this

That is true. Though they do have NCAA affiliated teams that participate in the games whose big corporate sponsors who will no doubt feel the wrath (to some degree) of the "cancel culture" army. It will be interesting to see if it is just corporate virtue signaling or if they plan to pull the games out of Florida even though theoretically they don't have to because they aren't under the umbrella of the NCAA

You could've just said New Orleans. We all understand. I know Mardi Gras is big too, but I'm not risking my life and my vehicle for it.

DeSantis is America’s Caesar for better or worse.

Trump was America's Caeser. He upset the apple cart, he made sweeping changes, boasted about his greatness, pissed off the establishment. He was even stabbed in the back by former "friends" in the Senate.

Right now Brutus and the conspirators are running rough shod over the American empire. Hopefully DeSantis is the Octavian/Augustus that brings them all down. And sees Caesers vision come to fruition.

so Desantis will mess with the money they thought they were gonna get from those events and they're just gonna be cool with it

You don’t care… see your lack of teenage girl style laughing emojis for the gap toothed model getting the all star game removed from Atlanta.

Not quite the gotcha as you thought it was eh?

I’m seeing DeSantis becoming Florida’s version of Bobby Jindal here...
