Anyone who watches that inane swill on a regular basis, has no perception to change. Their perception comes from whatever celebrity they fetishize. The young man Desantis apparently has a shelf life that doesn’t extend all the way to 2028, seems to be what most of these folks claim when you hit them with “why not both”. Which I don’t believe they’ve thought through very well because that’s not exactly a compliment to Desantis. It’s pretty much saying he wouldn’t be good enough to remain relevant and viable that long, thus “strike while the iron’s hot”. They just need to think about it a couple of minutes farther.

Yeah some folks are going way out of their way to oppose something that makes so much sense. How is 12 years not preferable to 8? If Desantis is as good as they say he is, his star will only gain in brightness throughout a Trump 4 year term.

No. Many of us believe DeSantis has a much higher chance of winning in 2024, and that he will govern to the Right of Trump, in a more competent and disciplined manner.

Trump is lower probability and brings a giant bag of shite along with his positives.

this is one area trump could learn a lot from desantis on judging the people who work under him as far as their motive, intent, and where their internal compass leads them to be loyal to
