DeSantis is still unknown and hasn't dealt with the corruption of DC politics. A lot of decent politicians had ambitions but once they lived in DC for a time, came out changed individuals that fell to the temptations of corruption.

Could be a rino, could be America first, or could be anywhere in between. Truth is, we don't know how he would be if he was the presidential nominee.. or if he won the presidency.
I'm a little uneasy, because he seems too perfect. He needs another term as governor before I decide to go all in on the Desantis bandwagon.
Mainly because whether or not he'll be a rino or America first president doesn't matter at the moment.
.. because as governor, he is killing it. We know for a fact that he's a helluva governor. He should do another term and further help Floridians, opposed to trying to rush to the white house and be obstructed nonstop.

I’ve finally realized that the anti DeSantis posters are paid trolls. No DeSantis supporter like myself would ever choose to sit out and not vote for Trump if he runs and is the nominee. On the flip side, absolutely nobody who is an actual America First Trump supporter would feel the need to bash Ron because you can support Trump as your first option but realize that Ron is absolutely a no nonsense America First conservative who would serve the country well.

Nah, there are a handful of hardcore Trump guys and I think they legitimately have concerns that Ron will be a neocon or chamber of commerce stooge. I just have Trump fatigue for a lot of reasons and think it's time to move on to Ron. But, I understand why people think Trump deserves another crack at it.

In full disclosure, I like Ron. But I do think he is a lot like other republicans who luckily managed to emerge in a post-Trump landscape. How everybody else can't see that, I'm amazed.
He has a ton of potential but he has to know his role. Get in line behind GEOTUS or risk being steamrolled.

The media is pushing BDR becuase they are TERRIFIED of TRUMP!....and I think it will eventually backfire on them.
