You basically proved my fricken point. DOGE can’t cut Shiite. All it can do is identify waste and fraud, but the money saved is then reappropriated, so no money is saved in any conventional way. In fact, I would argue, all we did was add another layer of bureaucracy to the mix here.

But keep thinking that DOGE is going to do anything substantive. Or that the Big Beautoful Bill cuts anything.

Or you can open your eyes and realize that it is simply a feel good talking point that provide the appearance of fiscal restraint, which was the whole point DeSantis was making.
