Look what Trump did to Jeb and the coward Mitt Romney.

Yep, the cat is out of the bag with him, but he'd still be better than any Democrat they run on the ticket.

Have you heard him speak?
Yes and it’s nice to hear someone who speaks with substance and not a child who covers his ears and just repeats loudly “I’m winning I’m winning I’m winning!

See this is how we know you're just a long time never Trumper. You say things like that

He's getting paid with cash and promises.
He knows he doesn't have a prayer in 24. His job is to fracture the GOP vote. His hope is it will be "his turn" in 28 and he'll be flush with globalist cash for playing ball to keep Trump out of the White House.
I'll laugh when they stab him in the back.

so when Trump loses the primary and actively works against the best interest of Desantis and the GOP, will you accuse him of the same? Will you be laughing?

that wouldn't be happening if he wasn't running against him. That's the point
You just had weeks of DeSantis getting trashed worse than Adam Schiff without ever announcing. What if he didn’t run? What would all the melting amount to?

Oh he putted himself.
He absolutely is seeking to split the gop.

None of this is remotely any reality whatsoever.

If that were to happen, Trump would cement himself as a complete fraud.
Trump could instead cement himself as a Saving Father of America by backing DeSantis.
It should be an easy choice, but the fact no one knows what he would do just further shows he’s not the guy.

You give a ridiculous scenario without explaining what the enormous unforeseen thing is that turns all popular sentiment around. Trump's the perceived incumbent and is way up

bookmark it, bubba. we'll reconvene in a year

You ask why is he? Because he is on the uniparty team. He was in the bullpen and got the call.
Posted on 5/23/23 at 9:35 pm to NawlinsTiger9
You can't give me a hint?
It's got to be a scandal or something. The political record for both is basically done. It's not gonna be personality.

quote:That’s the reason I’m behind DeSantis.
He knows Trump has a coin flip’s shot at best to beat Biden, and there is too much on the line to leave it to a coin flip.
Although I would vote for Trump if he wins the nomination, I don’t believe he can win. I don’t think he can pull enough of the independent vote and the left will absolutely turn out in record numbers to vote against him.
Hell I’ve got a sister in DC that voted for Biden that said she’d happily vote for DeSantis. She loathes Trump.
Lots of people just have Trump exhaustion.
