So, over time, as the number of “Uber rich” decreases while the number of those who are not in these tax brackets or utilize stock trading increases, how does he propose to continue to pay?

Dude....I’m sorry but Bernie’s numbers were getting ripped to shreds when he released them.

The numbers don’t add up and are basically made up.

WRONGGGGGG.

The nationalization of the gas and oil industries were the key factors.

But hey, it’s those pesky rich folk who don’t pay THEIR fair share. Not the some 40 something percent who pay no income tax at all.

Don’t discount this masterpiece:

quote:

Eliminating health tax expenditures, which would no longer be needed under Medicare for All - $3 trillion.

Green new deal magic:

quote:

Collecting $2.3 trillion in new income tax revenue from the 20 million new jobs created by the plan.

quote:

Saving $1.31 trillion by reducing the need for federal and state safety net spending due to the creation of millions of good-paying, unionized jobs.

This is beyond comedy hour - insanity someone actually believes this enough to suggest we look at it

then not being able to reply when we say he wants to copy the Scandinavian model.
He doesn't, though. He wan't a few of those elements, especially the state controlled health care system, but he also wants to nationalize a lot of industries. That is purely socialist and does not follow the "Scandinavian models" that are failing anyway.

Let’s not forget the fact that the Uber rich (those he plans to tax to death) have the absolute ability to pack their shite up and move out of the country.

at the retards who think those who have the means to get the frick out won’t. Especially today with more and more work being able to be done virtually and not in person.

Sound familiar?

quote:

In 2008 candidate Barack Obama promised to create 5 million green jobs. He laid out a plan to invest $150 billion over 10 years that would advance a clean-energy economy built around biofuels, hybrid cars, low-emission coal plants, and renewable sources such as solar and wind. How many has he actually created?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics began tracking green jobs two years ago, but it counts only how many existed as of the end of 2010. It doesn’t keep a running total of newly created jobs, so there’s no way to tell how many existed before Obama’s election. The Brookings Institution also has a tally, but it too goes only through 2010, and of the nearly 2.7 million green jobs it identifies, most were bus drivers, sewage workers, and other types of work that don’t fit the “green jobs of the future” that Obama imagined. The report does zero in on cleantech, which includes the wind, solar, fuel-cell, and smart-grid industries. In 2010, Brookings shows, there were 184,699 such jobs nationwide—up 2,642 since the president took office in 2009.

Yup but do you know who do pay a lot of taxes? Danes.

The deadbeats here who think they pay but don’t would be in for quite a surprise in Denmark. Pretty much every dollar over 7k is taxed at 50 percent and over 70 US it is closer to 65%.

Compare to a US family of four making $50k who literally have a negative tax rate here (but still bitch about their burden)

I think that's what most people get wrong about Bernie. He wants big government like Denmark. Not actual socialism.

Meh. His policy plans, if fully implemented, would nationalize between 30-40% of the US economy including the vast majority of health and energy industries.

Money all flushed down the toilet.

Or into the bank accounts of the guys that started, then bankrupted, those green companies.
