Why'd you pick one that started in 2020?

DSA is not good for the dems and it is another sign the dnc is in its death throes.

Put simply the DSA at best will push millions to the right but will not add one new voter to the left.

I for one love seeing the radicalization of the left. It’s another sign that logic, goodness and decency are winning.

Don't forget Thanksgiving and Christmas are the holidays of imperial overlords and they must be eliminated due to being offensive to the native Snufalufagus Tribe.

I am glad you can acknowledge that he destroyed his opponents by driving them to expose themselves.

One of the most logically inconsistent things about Dems is that they claim to be the pro-women party while supporting a religion that is absolutely awful for women even in some of the more moderate sects

Not to mention that he is openly telling you he agrees with the things his violent ilk are saying. He too hates the country and wants it destroyed.

By any means necessary isn't a joke to people like him. He will be right in line shouting "Death To America".

It's the most disappointing term for a president in a very long time

Wrong, Trump is only tangentially involved in this.

Over the decades the DNC has built the party's platform on the personality politics of "the noble victim." For decades that was centered primarily around blacks and supporting them in fighting back against racism (whether specific events were real, perceived or faked).

As we moved into the 2000s and the black community started accumulating wealth, the party found itself needing to reach further into its fringes to find vigorous and active supporters to give visual energy for their platforms. This meant turning slightly from the black community to that of hispanics (due to the explosion of illegal immigration from Central and South American countries) as well as the gay community.

Their greatest expansion success came from the gay community so they pushed deeper into that fringe to the point where their stance went from "they just want to be married" to the LARP of tranny-ism.

As they've moved deeper into their fringe, the loudest and most vigorous voices in their party increasingly became fringe as well. As that shift occurred, it turned off (and away) an increasing number of Democratic voter (whether that be their voting another party, not voting at all, leaving the party altogether, etc). Also, as you move deeper into the fringe, the more psychotic members of those fringier groups are likely to be.

And this is where Trump comes in. Trump is a polarizing figure so that polarization (TDS) fed into the psychosis of those fringe members, in a strange way it gave them an internal justification for their hardline stance on whatever their core issue is (this has been fed, of course, by Leftist rhetoric). This has led to a phenomenon where the more successful Trump is (AND the more failures Trump has), the more the psychotics use that as justification for their extreme actions. In other words, Trump has become an important driver, but didn't originate it and is not the primary driver.

So, in a way, it could be viewed that the growth of the DSA's influence within the Democratic Party is due to the popularity and/or success of Trump as the party tries desperately to remain in power.
