His entire theory is based upon a new House, which convenes on Jan. 3, having the time to elect a new Speaker (which must be done before any business begins), then pass a bill that would disqualify Trump, then get that bill over to the senate for them to also pass it….all in 3 days.
I’m sorry, but that just isn’t feasible.
He mentioned the House could simply pass a resolution. While none of this has been tested obviously, the overwhelming opinion following the SCOTUS ruling is that a statute must be enacted. That require both houses of congress.
