A former Judge of Elections in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been charged and pleaded guilty to illegally adding votes for Democrat candidates in judicial races in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
On Thursday, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced charges against former Judge of Elections Domenick DeMuro, 73, for stuffing the ballot box for Democrats in exchange for payment by a paid political consultant.
The charges, and guilty plea, include conspiracy to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific Democrat candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections and a violation of the Travel Act.
“The Trump administration’s prosecution of election fraud stands in stark contrast to the total failure of the Obama Justice Department to enforce these laws,” Public Interest Legal Foundation President Christian Adams said in a statement. “Right now, other federal prosecutors are aware of cases of double voting in federal elections as well as noncitizen voting. Attorney General William Barr should prompt those other offices to do their duty and prosecute known election crimes.”

Now, I have it on good authority from several posters on this site that election fraud, illegal voting and the like do not happen and have absolutely no influence on the election...

The Dems do this in almost every election where they think they can get away with it.
They usually do get away with it. It's how Franken and Landrieu win by a few dozen/few hundred votes (getting greater than 100% in some precincts, as Landrieu did), for example.
(ETA: They tried it in 2000 for the Presidential election and almost got away with it.)

But I’ve been repeatedly assured that voter fraud doesn’t exist, and if it did exist then Democrats would never be the ones to perpetrate it.
One way or the other, I’m sure there’s a Republican behind this. It’s the only possible explanation.

Voter fraud only occurs when it involves Russians buying Facebook ads and colluding with the President to sway an election.
It doesn’t exist when it happens domestically with American citizens voting for themselves and their deceased relatives, friends, neighbors, strangers, etc.

Yeah, sometimes headlines speak for themselves… Election Judge Domenick DeMuro was paid between $300 and $5,000 to assist in ballot stuffing for each election over multiple years.
PHILADELPHIA – U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain released a video on May 21, 2020, in which he discussed the charging and guilty plea of former Philadelphia Judge of Elections Domenick J. DeMuro.
[Transcript] – Good morning. I am here to announce that the U.S. Attorney’s Office has unsealed criminal charges against Domenick J. DeMuro, a former Judge of Elections for the 39th Ward, 36th Division in South Philadelphia.
DeMuro has been charged with two counts: first, for conspiring to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific Democratic candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections; and second, for a violation of the Travel Act, which forbids the use of any facility in interstate commerce (here, a cell phone) with the intent to promote certain illegal activity (here, bribery).
DeMuro has pled guilty to both of these charges.

The democrats want zero control over elections and the media promotes it because they are an arm of the democrat party.

That may be true, but it can absolutely change public perception of the political climate if certain topics. Say the Dem candidate won 52-48, but changing the ballots to 58-42 for a candidate that fully supports socialist beliefs provides a headline that xxx area election results go to show that America is embracing the idea of socialism

I agree to an extent. If malicious intent is uncovered, the consequences should be high. If procedures are violated carry a minimum prison sentence.
