But things only get worse after 2020. In fact, things get much worse with each passing year. By 2040, most of the nation’s voters – including most liberals – will live in 15 of our 50 states. That means Democrats will solidly control only 30 Senate seats, even if they dominate in the House. That leaves 70 Senate seats belonging to states filled with mostly rural, conservative and older voters. In other words, the GOP’s rock-solid base.

Things get worse for dems after 2020

It's truly scary isn't it?

God wrote that document, through our forefathers.

This requires explanation and some evidence to support. I get what he's saying, but saying it alone is not enough. I'm not buying this yet.

Democrats are also defending Alabama Senator Doug Jones, who snuck past the scandal-ridden Republican Roy Moore in a special election late last year. Jones is unlikely to be so lucky the next time around.

Is he even going to run again? I figured he conceded his chances to retain his seat when he voted against Kavanaugh.

All you need do is look at a map of the last election and then a map of migration in the US

Walt Maddox basically got the same number of votes Jones did.

Unfortunately for Walt, Roy Moore wasn't on the ballot so, conservatives didn't stay home.

As long as illegals pour in unchecked, the Dems will grow stronger and stronger.

Senate-wise I can see it. States like Kansas and OK with some D surprises last night notwithstanding. Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota have always been proud of their "moderation" as well.

to wit:

The house is a completely different story as Texas and coastal states continue to grow exponentially including immigrants.

Liberals are dancing but here's what I see.

I see a judiciary that is going to move even more to the right over the next two years. A USSC in on danger of being leftist short of unexpected deaths. And, a Senate that is only going to get harder for Democrats to win.

I'll be dead before that's not the case. So. I'm good.

Yes. Also we still are watching Colorado, Wisconsin, Michigan, New Mehecoh and Nevada swing further and further left. Minniscrotum is long lost as well. I don't see how these are going to come back solid red after 2020. I would like to see some empirical evidence, and then I can jump on board.

This line of thought presumes that liberals who retire will remain in cities, etc. There's no assurance of that.

It also presumes current trends, but we've all been around long enough to see generations buck certain trends all the time.

Predicting how the voter base will look in 20 years is an easy prediction because not a damn person will remember or come forth if it ends up being bullshite; but the writer, if still alive, will scream and shout for everyone to read it if he's still alive.

Never presume to predict human trends over a course of 20 years. We may have high-speed transit that allows people to live anywhere and work anywhere. That will easily screw with any predictive model of this nature.

Where do they figure that liberals will be concentrated in only 15 states? Florida is already a swing state, plus Arizona and Texas are likely set to become more competitive with kids of illegal immigrants reaching voting age and influx of Democrat voters that move out of places like California and New York to escape high taxes and costs of living and vote for the same types of candidates in their new states.

So during the next 22 years, the Democratic party won't change to accommodate the shifting political landscape? Just gonna let Rs take over

Righttttt
