What a tragic mistake that would be for the Dems.

You start the list at Joe Biden and Eric holder who have 0% intention of running and left off Joe Kennedy who was select by the Democratic Party to deliver the response to the State of the Union address.

Trump has beaten the Clintons and the Bushes. I guess the bootlegging Kennedys are the next political family GEOTUS will dethrone.

Kennedy was the dems pick but after jiz lip took it on the chin, its back to the drawing board.

That being said, Joe biden will be to trump as John McCain was to Obama.

Joe Biden - Too old
Eric Holder - Might happen, but too many skeletons in the closet
Deval Patrick - A threat
Terry McAuliffe - Too white
Andrew Cuomo - Too white
Jerry Brown - Too california
Bernie Sanders - Too old
Kamala Harris - A serious threat that could turn out Obama voters
Elizabeth Warren - Too white
Sherrod Brown
Kirsten Gillibrand
Amy Klobuchar
Cory Booker - Possible
Pete Buttigieg
Eric Garcetti
Mitch Landrieu
Jason Kander
Steve Bullock
Julian Castro - Possible
Seth Moulton
John Delaney

Given their tantrums of the past few years, the democrat's only hope to win given the stage as it is set today is to put together a ticket with a black/hispanic at the top and hope for massive turnout within those communities.

The question is who do they rig the primary for and how stupid does someone have to be to think that band of nutjobs will silently put up with it when it happens again?

Does the motley collection of misfits that is the current democrat party even have a power nexus to control a primary like they usually do?

Michael Bloomberg would be 79 years old but could take the Democratic party and pull it back from the far, far left to just left of center.

I actually like Mike Bloomberg, but he's as big an a-hole as Trump and not nearly the showman. Have you seen him give a speech?

Not national timber.

Same here, as he's a pragmatic and a consensus builder. A liberal that also sees the much bigger picture and not an identity politics personality. But he comes across in his speeches like stale crackers.

While true.............the reality is, if you could resurrect the 1992 version of Bill Clinton........he couldn't win the Dem primary if his life depended upon it.

And unlike his wife, he's actually good at this shite.

Krogers. And I learned on this board yesterday that they sell guns. I've never seen any.

He was a Rockefeller Republican for most of his life, and I'd say he's tough to pigeonhole. He's definitely not libertarian given some of the laws he imposed and enforced in NYC (soda taxes and crap), but I wouldn't say he's a liberal--not economically. And I doubt anyone would call him a conservative.

He's on his own program.

Yeah, that soda thing was pretty dumb, but that's the social progressive in him. At least he didn't pull down statues.
