There are lots of reasons for different groups to be angsty over immigration. I'm just saying the Democrats think they're locking up another minority voting block like they did with black people, but it's not the same with Hispanics. They're much more likely to vote Republican than black people are.

They figure they can scrub any work ethic or lingering morals or religious conviction from the illegals kids via public school indoctrination. They play the long game. Just recently reaping the full reward of their complete takeover of education in the 60s and 70s

Yep, Dems want to believe Hispanics are all in with their liberal agenda and pro-immigrant, but in Texas, that is just not correct! I know many Mexicans that are Conservative and can't stand illegals. Hispanics are very different than Blacks in their outlook, it's just the media only focuses on the loud libs like AOC. She tries to use the 'women of color' b.s. to get special treatment, but everything I have heard suggests she grew up among whites & lived a charmed life...

shite, at this rate, a third generation would make this nation unrecognizable to the posterity of its founders. I don't give a shite if the 3rd generation are all staunch libertarians if the entire country is like where these people came from.

AOC is white, and also a fraud. I brought this up the other day and a friend said "she's half Puerto Rican." As if that makes her a minority. I have an uncle that's half Puerto Rican, he's white and has never considered himself a minority.
She also went by "Sandy Ocasio" in high school and didn't start calling herself "Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez" until she got hand picked to run for office by Justice Democrats.

Trump got 8% of the black vote in 2016, but 29% of the Hispanic vote. They're not the same. And in 2020 Hispanics will make up the largest minority voting bloc.

Well because believe it or not, there are a lot of people that consider factors OTHER than what’s politically expedient for Democrat politicians. The Dems goal is the same it’s always been: globalization, open borders- the more people they can get into the country and dependent on government services, the longer they’ll continue to be reelected. It’s the same thing they’ve done with blacks.
More reasonably minded people, like Trump, are not opposed to immigration as a whole, but rather, they are concerned with: 1) the SECURITY OF AMERICAN CITIZENS. Ie- they’d like to know WHO the people are that are coming in- whether they’re members of cartels or gangs, terrorist groups, have. a criminal history, are they a sexual predator, etc. 2) will they contribute to the country or be a drain on the economy & taxpayers [aka MERIT BASED] 3) will they assimilate to American society, learn the English language, etc
So to answer your question more simply, the angst over immigration is because we have NO IDEA who most of these people are, how many are even here already, where they are, where they came from, NOTHING. If ISIS can get to Mexico, (and they can- and DO) they can get into the US. And we’ve seen what that can result it, and would like to try to prevent it from happening again. But alas, we can’t do that due to the radical socialist Democrat’s in our government that don’t give a frick if another 9/11, Orlando, San Bernardino, or 100,000 more Kate Steinles happen, so long as they’ve got a steady stream of new dependents coming in.
