Trump will do a lot of the work on his own. But its not really hard to see how Democrats can hit them easily in 2018......
- Ads saying Trump and Republicans want to take healthcare away from 24 million people to pay for tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires.
- Ads showing older rural voters what their premium could look like under Trumpcare.
- Dozens of ads contrasting his rhetoric on "The Swamp" and Goldman Sachs with the dozens of swamp appointees and him having half a dozen Goldman Sachs appointees.
- Abdicating America's leadership responsibilities on the world stage to China.
- Hitting him on some of the under-the-radar stuff like allowing ISP's to sell your data without consent.
There is a lot of ammunition though. The thing is, it will be the Democrats trying to land those blows. And they are not even competent enough to be called incompetent when it comes to this stuff.

I doubt it. 2018 will more likely resemble 2006, where Trump fatigue will be strongly entrenched in the electorate, and hordes of Democrats will sway swing districts with candidates like Jon Ossoff touting 2nd Amendment, strong national defense, and fiscal responsibility credentials.

Of course, the GOP plan in 2008 was the same idea. Filibuster everything then run on a platform of Obama/Dems gets nothing done.

An attitude didn't cost them the 2016 election, a terrible candidate did.
But then, the Democrats basically lost their fricking minds, trotting up illegal aliens and rioting BLM goons right onto the main stage, and giving the big "F U" to people who basically just want to live their lives and go to work each day in a normal, law-abiding society.
I remember someone I knew saying before the election, that Trump is basically that "BREAK GLASS IN CASE OF EMERGENCY" choice. He is a white professional, and he, like many others, never thought that he would feel compelled to vote for a guy like Trump... but he ended up feeling he HAD to vote AGAINST the alternative.
If the Dems don't realize what they did in 2016 and somehow correct that, they're going to face the same results the next election too. Most people don't want anarchy, and that's the main calling card of the Dems right now.
