I am not sure they can take the house in 2018, but it's going to be really close. It really depends on what trump accomplishes in the next 18 months.
Healthcare could really frick him. And tax reform could be a huge win.
It will come down to excitement in the bases of both parties.
I don't think they can take the senate, the math just is too difficult.

That might work in California, but voters in states like Pennsylvania and Ohio won't buy that.

There are a ton of republicans in districts that Trump narrowly won. Every one of those are in real danger. I posted a graph that showed how many. I'll look for it and post again.
Edit: Found it. I was wrong it actually shows how many Republicans there are that won by different margins in 2016.

They are likely boosting about how this will be a big win for them because they will win more of the seats that will be up for vote . But the truth is they will likely end up losing seats that controlled but they will still boost about how they won more seats then the republicans and claim they are on the rise. 2018 seems like a bad year for them because they that have a lot more to lose then republicans .

Oddly enough, I think yalls best shot of taking the House back would be if we were not able to pass ACA repeal and reform. I think that's why Dick Durbin is offering to reach across the aisle to help.
