DEM PANIC TIME: GOP leads by 1 in generic poll for 66 toss-up districts

Democrats have a 53-42 percent edge in the generic ballot for the House. But inside the 66 districts that are tossups, or only leaning, that lead evaporates into a 46-47 D v. R race.
In summary, Dems are really psyched to vote out Republicans this year, just not in the actual races where a Dem could vote out a Republican:
But it isn’t. Therein lies the core of Democrats’ concerns with 22 days to go, as they worry that a whole lot of their midterm enthusiasm will wind up wasted in places they don’t need the extra votes.
Dems ‘fear lackluster Latino support’
Democrats are worried about Latino voters in the midterms, fearing that weak efforts to energize a core element of their base could imperil their bid to win control of Congress in next month’s elections.
From the Sun Belt battlegrounds of Nevada and Arizona to sprawling turf wars in Texas and Florida, there are signs that the Hispanic vote — which party leaders have long hoped would be the foundation of future electoral success — has yet to flourish in their favor this year. LINK

Extremely accurate. Not shocking though.. people in echo chambers constantly have their own worldviews reinforced.

Time for Trump to announce that ICE will be at polling stations to ensure no illegals vote.

Hispanics are naturally conservative people. They just need to get the GOP message and understand that they are not voting in their best interest if they vote Democrat.

Amazing that a party who tried to lump in all hard working and intellegent immigrants with illegal immigrants and criminals is now seeing greatly falling support from those legal immigrants and people of Hispanic heritage.

Not so sure about this. I suspect it will bring immigration to the forefront and benefit the Republicans.

Well unless they thumb some rides and Mexico doesn't stop them they won't be here by midterms. It's 2000 miles and at the pace I see them walking, they'll be a while.

You will know what voting bloc the Democrats are concerned about Trump making inroads with by what the media pushes the next three weeks. If the media pushes children being separated at the border from their parents the Democrats polls are saying Trump is getting more support from Hispanics than the Democrats are comfortable with. If the media pushes Me Too then Trump is over performing with women according to the polls the Democrats are analyzing. If the media pushes Kanye needs mental help then Trump is over performing with African-American voters in the Democrats polls. When you "listen" to the media from now until Election Day ask yourself just whose opinions are they trying to change by the stories they focus on and the slant they give them. Those are the voters they are worried about.
