A Socialist isn't going to beat Trump, 74. Even you should know better than this.

Oh, the wonderful miles of Wall that could be built with that now-wasted money.

I cant see who would give their money to politicians -regular people.

I also cant stand how much money will be spent for 2020 on this stuff. Truly disgusting.

Bernie - “ The people gave me a boat load of money willingly; but imagine how much more I could bring in if I forced them to donate and they didn’t have a choice”

Yeah I could see this, thats more understandable. I have a few familiy memebers that were in elected positions, small county, but I know they paid for the stuff themself.

I just cant see these people opening their checkbook or just giving away their money like that to people they dont actually know.

Kinda creepy with Bernie and his cult followers.

Why would you insist that I believe Bernie beats Trump? I said, nothing of the sort. What I’m showing is where the grassroots are at the moment in the Democratic Party. Money doesn’t necessarily = motivation except when it’s 150,000 individual donors giving $4 Illini in less than 24 hours.

One name we haven’t seen is Biden and by all accounts he leads but that support is soft and the money he brings into his campaign probably doesn’t last without a natural base. I can’t see Biden running so I’m trying to figure out where his supporters go. As of now it’s probably over to Bernie and Warren but nobody knows for sure. Also, who does Biden endorse if he doesn’t run?

Might surprise you that Dems have a much deeper pockets than Republicans. Consider 70% of Wall Street is staunch Democrat supporters. I just wonder how the old guard money Democrats can get behind Harris, Bernie or Warren? I think those 3 present major problems for the major donor class amongst Dems. Still, I don’t doubt for a second Bernie could wage a formidable campaign off just his grassroots supporters.
