It is. 2/3rds of the population lives in or around Wilmington, which is a total shithole in the same vein as Newark or Camden, NJ.
The poor fricks in the southern 80% of the state are no different than the eastern shore populations of MD or VA. Conservatives forever doomed to domination by their liberal Philly suburb overlords.

That whole New England area is a shithole of liberalism

When you always have an oil sheen on your windshield from the oil refineries....that sounds awful

Cornpop turned it into a shithole.

Delaware while not in New England shares the politics of all those states north of it.

Even their soft drink sucks.

... ACTUALLY, Delaware Punch was owned by Barq's rootbeer here in New Orleans for many years.

Delaware has three counties.
About 70 percent of the states population lives in New Castle County, which is Wilmington and suburban Philadelphia. Complete shite hole.
Kent County is in the central part of the state and is where Dover, the state capital is. It’s full of liberal trash as well.
Sussex County is beautiful and went for Trump in the last election.

I have only met two people from Delaware in my entire life. Only proof that I have that it exists.

No sales tax is pretty damned awesome.

I am sure that they make up for it in other ways.

The only good thing to come out of Delaware is Delaware Punch, which no longer exists.

I currently live in the central part of the state (South of Dover), not by choice. I travel up to Wilmington weekly for work, and I've seen no support for the guy in the northern part of the state. Most of the people I deal with up there hate the guy. Wilmington is a shitty crime-ridden area though, and most will vote on messaging alone there. I would consider Wilmington an extension of Philadelphia which is an even shittier area.

Only thing good out of Wilmington area is it's 15 minutes to Phillies, 1 hours to Orioles, 2 hours to nationals, 3.5 hours to Mets/Yankees, and 5.5 hours to Fenway.
