Why The Crusades Happened
I was very interested to watch your video as I have studied a lot on the crusades and always want another perspective.
Her makes a compelling argument but at the end of the day there are two major flaws that I see
1. Yes the Muslim conquerors did awful awful things, yet unfortunately that was not uncommon for the time. I’m not saying we should forgive them their atrocities but I’m saying th we are more of a product of their time than a product of their religion.
2. As my mom taught me “two wrongs don’t make a right”. Just because the Muslims brutally conquered territory and treated non Muslims poorly, it doesn’t excuse the Christians for turning around and doing the same thing to them centuries later
