How is it even arguable. It was cold calculated murder of a person for speaking.
This was not some accidental death. Not some bar room brawl. Not some gang.

I never listened to or paid much attention to Kirk either. I do appreciate though that he was good with the younger generations.

Standard practice. Of course, the lawyers are going to fight everything they can, especially the possibility of a death sentence. Would be malpractice if they did not file something like this.

I agree and you're right.
But the cost of that is the elephant in the room. The price we pay is that this country will succumb to communism.
I think many of us are teetering on edge knowing that a big fight is coming.
Do you think a civil war will happen in this country in your lifetime?

Actaully no. Utah has "murder" and "aggravated murder" the former is limited to life. where aggravated murder has the death penalty. They have a very long list of circumstances that move murder to aggravated murder. The vast majority of them don't fit this crime.
This is the circumstance that fits, and you can see the argument the defense is making is tailored to it:
"The actor knowingly created a great risk of death to another individual other than the deceased individual and the actor"
The issue for the prosecution is whether they get jury members who are sold on the wild conspiracy theories. Those are also the people that are likely to lie in voir dire.

This country is so far gone, I’d take a deal right away as a prosecutor if the defense accepts life in prison without parole. Having a jury trial, anything could happen. With all the wackos around these days, someone on the jury may see this nut as a hero.

Lmao. All theatrics. I assumed this wouldn’t go to trial after recent evidence that’s come out.
Plea deal will be reached, and this will go away. Then on UVU campus, there will one day be a museum like the one at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, and we will get to hear about how Tyler Robinson was the lone assassin. Mmmk right.
I’m supposed to think it’s normal how quickly a crime scene gets paved over, Charlie had recently called for an audit of Turning Point, he had recently (in the Hamptons) denied Israeli money, Lance Twiggs (pretty relevant to the case) has been given Fed protection and his alibi was he “was sleeping,” multiple fingerprints were on the supposed weapon (including those of Lance Twiggs and several others) and Tyler’s were the most degraded of all the prints, the first cop on the rooftop had his body cam footage suddenly go out as he got onto the rooftop, don’t even get me started on the absurd screwdriver and gun assembly/disassembly, etc.
This all stinks and nothing will convince me Tyler Robinson did this and/or acted alone…not even his defense team “admitting it.”
