Dumb question since I cant remember how the merry go round started. What led them to want this individuals named unmasked in the first place.

Just so I understand this. So the list does not guarantee the unmasking was granted and done for each individual on the list but instead was requested by each individual on the list.

It is risky to put this out this soon. I would have waited for an August surprise... with plenty of time to make sure everybody understood what really happened. A lot of people firm up their decisions in Sept and Oct - based on what they know, and how they feel.

Yes unmasking is not necessarily the crime, but unmasking and leaking the name to the press is the crime. If you have proper security clearance, unmasking the name is not necessarily a problem but it is suppose to be done only in rare circumstances. Looks like everyone and their mother in Obama world could ask for an unmasking.

So every single person on that list is going to deny leaking the info I assume? There are also some names still classified. Can someone explain how this could amount to anything if they can't find any further evidence on who leaked the info on Flynn?
