Vacherie Saint you are completely wrong about DeSantis and the Covid data. Rebekah Jones was exposed for insubordination and lying to cover it up. Florida was far far better than any other state at honestly using the data to combat Covid.
Rebekah Jones is a fraud

Do you think governor's were acting on data/science/warnings from their own state health departments?
The level of mental disconnect among Rons supports is staggering. The states make all their own decisions (see the recent correct overturn of Roe) This from just two days ago
quote:
Under the new changes, state and local health departments are no longer required to report certain COVID data to the federal government. This "will severely deplete the government's newly acquired arsenal of disease data surveillance"
And this from July, 2020
quote:
The report by Resolve to Save Lives, a New York based non-profit, examined the covid-19 “dashboards” of all 50 states and the District of Columbia
And this from Sept, 2021
quote:
Many states have online dashboards to report COVID-19 numbers, but some took them down or stopped updating them frequently when case numbers dropped sharply last winter. Now with numbers surging again, some states are still not updating their COVID data, and public health experts say that's a problem.
THE STATES make their own decisions. Plus, heres a report from John Hopkins that verifies that Ron was just a follower as we have all said
quote:
At least two dozen states that have stopped updating daily the number of people catching the virus, being hospitalized and dying, according to Johns Hopkins. Some stopped reporting anything over weekends. Others cut back to just a few times a week. Florida is the latest state to go to just once a week.
He saw what other more conservative governors did first, and then jumped right in

Yes, Trump was lied to and manipulated by the DC Swamp rats, but he never has been conservative.
The reason I voted for him twice is that I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that he loves this country and wants what's best for it.
I count on one hand the other people in FedGov I can say that about, even if that hand is missing a finger or two.

It's wild how you can look at others and find "disconnects" everywhere on how Covid stats were developed back in 2020, and then use as proof of your position the recent overturning of Roe and something from just two days ago.

Do you think that states that took down their dashboard stopped reporting deaths, causes of death, hospitalizations, etc to the CDC?
You posted all of that shite and not a word contradicts what I've stated: the CDC directed states on how to keep Covid stats.
I notice that nobody has bothered to comment on the "Death Certificate Matching Program". Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

Despite reports to the contrary, Sweden is paying heavily for its decision not to lockdown. As of today, 2462 people have died there, a much higher number than the neighboring countries of Norway (207), Finland (206) or Denmark (443). The United States made the correct decision!

But Trump was powerless, bro. Do you even know the constitution? And how was he supposed to know the virus wasn't going to kill everyone? He isn't a Virologist! And besides, it's only with 20/20 hindsight that it becomes clear that cratering the f'n country and handing the keys to a dementia-riddled pedo over a virus less lethal than the flu for most of us isn't a rational response.
Posted on 5/13/23 at 7:47 pm to David_DJS
As long as Trump won't admit that he made any mistakes we have to assume he'd do everything the same way all over again.
That alone should disqualify him from ever being President again.

Yes, I do
Thats why I can clearly say that youre clueless about the corona situation. I even gave you a hint with the John Hopkins article. Because if the states were still reporting to the CDC, then why couldnt John Hopkins just get the data from the CDC?
But to prove mu y point. More stories
quote:
Nearly a year later, these issues persist.
States have led the way in public dissemination of Covid-19 data, but experts say the federal government – particularly the CDC – could have offered more leadership and guidance on priorities. The CDC did not respond to CNN’s request for comment for this story.
quote:
One senior administration official told CNN that the federal government relies on data published on state dashboards and news reports. This is in part because some states are restricted in what data they can share with the federal government. Laws in Texas, for example, prohibit the state from sharing county-level data on vaccinations.
So if states are all required to report to the CDC, then why is this map multi-colored? They should all be doing the same, right? The lighter the state, the more likely they are to include 'race' in covid testing reporting

And it's not just how Trump rationalizes 2020. It's his fans. Trump said himself that his fans were so irrational that he could shoot someone on Broadway, and he wouldn't lose the support of one of them. And he's right. He can play a leading role in the utter fricking over of the country in 2020, and these morons can find no fault in him.

Well, you're retarded. The states are compelled to report death statistics to the CDC. That's not a Covid thing. It's an always thing.
CDC's National Vital Statistics System (NVSS) captures all deaths from all causes across every state in the nation.
What was different with Covid was directives laying out what counted as a Covid death, Covid hospitalization, etc.

Thats why I can clearly say that youre clueless about the corona situation.
JFC - it is unbelievable the somersaults in logic you guys will do to avoid the realities of 2020.
