Deblasio just went off on MAGA- Lights on no ones home...Get out of the way...

He’s a POS.
BUT
He claims that NYC will have no masks, gowns, or gloves for medical workers in the first week of April.
Wants something like 40-50m gowns and masks, gloves each and 15,000 respirators.
Said MAGA hasn’t instituted the war time manufacturing act which would mandate companies make these items.
Said that there are plants in Michigan raising their hand to the federal govt saying “what can we do”
Told all companies to start making these products on their own without a federal mandate.
Said all he gets is lip service from Pence and Azar
So what’s the truth with this?
***Anecdotal - got a call from a friend that is an ER doc at the VA in NOLA. He said they having to reuse masks. Said it’s getting dire with no new supplies coming.

How about we rely on China for a lot of this stuff and their manufacturing was down thanks to Chow Mein Virus.

Because we sent the manufacturing of this stuff - that used to be in the United States - to China.......

Supplies have been short. Just-in-time supply chains are great for the bottom line, not so great for emergency preparedness.

He is a liar. The President and Vice President said yesterday that since the administration changed regulations, construction mask can be used medically. 3M has been producing 35 million of these mask per month since January. The commie needs to place a bulk order and not wait for the fed gov to come to the rescue.

If by “we” you mean consumers then you are correct. Everyone cries about shite being made in China but they aren’t willing to spend the extra 10-20% to buy made in USA stuff. Soooo, you get more shite made in China fool
