re: Data on ideology of people leaving blue states for red states

The median home price in California is now $800,000. That's for the entire state and includes all of the inland areas, rural communities and the large swaths of barrios and ghettos that infest their major cities. $800,000 and still climbing at a record pace. That's insane.
And a lot of it is driven by Chinese money laundering. The Chinese government and economy is essentially a pyramid of theft and the California real estate market is one of the safest places to park and hide their loot.
Is it any wonder middle class families are fleeing?

The people moving over the years to Georgia is cut and dry. Yankees from rural parts of their former state vote red. While ones from urban cities still vote blue.

What about all of the people moving from the suburbs to the suburbs
People vote on past votes. Most blindly vote on how they always voted. "We're this or that". Only a few think for themselves and ovoid group think clan mentality. Most people are just mentally lazy.

It seems to have turned back to a Red State, but will it last?
I just moved to South Florida, and the area I am in is pretty damn red. Lots of "Let's Go Brandon!" signs around, and very little Biden/Harris stuff. I'm about 2 hours north of Miami, which is the most red area of the state.

Zero states are becoming more conservative. The closest would be FL. With the influx of illegals it cancels out any good people moving there.
Lots of movement among Hispanic immigrants to the right, enough do that it is worrying the DNC, immigrants were supposed to be their voting block in the future.

The California people moving to the Nashville area are turning it liberal fast
In fairness, Davidson County itself has always been liberal. The new transplants moving to East Nashville that vote blue won't change anything that hasn't already been going on in Metro Nashville politics for the last 60 years. Besides Nashville in general has, and will for the most part always be a suburban area as far as where people live. Every county that borders Davidson county is as Red as it gets. Tennessee is one of the last states that will pull a Georgia and flip blue.

I still can't believe a two time Obama voter and an ex-CIA guy got Rush Limbaugh's chair. Rush would be rolling over in his grave. I don't trust Clay Travis as far as I can throw him.
Wait, what?
I will say in Clay's defense, the Democrat landscape was a lot different in 2008 than it was in 2020. He's always ridiculed stupidity. And the stupid has washed over the modern day Dems. He also created a hundred million dollar online business in that timespan. Hard not to get red pilled when you become successful.

My daddy always said to never say never, but I bet Tennessee is one of the safest red states. But every time I go to Davidson it seems like it has moved farther left. And now they are starting to pop up in Knoxville. They are like my wifes family, red in California but blue in Tennessee.

Knoxville might have more libs now than ever, but it is still firmly Red. Hell, Knox County elected a WWE Republican to govern them.
I've lived in Tennessee my entire life, I just don't see it being in danger of flipping Red anytime soon. It keeps growing in population, and Republicans keep winning by larger margins in Statewide elections. Every county in Tennessee outside of Davidson and Shelby votes firmly Red.

Collin County TX is an example of a county (slowly) turning blue.
In 2000 73.07% of POTUS votes were for the GOP candidate. Since then it has dropped every election but one (71.15% in 2004, 62.16% in 2008, the only increase to 64.86% in 2012, then it drops significantly to 55.16% in 2016 and in 2020 it was 51.26% with 46.92% voting Democrat, a 90K increase in Dem voters compared to a 50K increase in GOP ones).

It's the people moving out of Dallas County that's the problem. They're looking for more affordable real estate, and are migrating north.

Lots of young college educated Republicans are flocking to Dallas and Austin area too. I remain hopeful with Texas. Once it falls, we all fall.

My wife's whole family moved here from California. Parents, 2 brothers, sister, grandmother, and uncle. All hardline conservatives except for grandma and the lesbian sister. Both of those are pretty moderate though.

Hopefully it’s not happening in excess . These people need to stay where they are , and live with the shitty policies they voted for . I for one don’t want these lunatics in my state .

Anyone with a pulse could have whipped Obama’s arse in 2012. He was ripe for a defeat.

No! We need them to stay in Pa so we can take over

I disagree. Women loved voting for him and then patting themselves on the back. He campaigned as a total moderate and fooled everyone
