Data on ideology of people leaving blue states for red states

Does anyone have reliable data on this? We often say that people from these states move out and still vote for the same shite that laid their previous state to waste. That may be true, but there also could be an influx of conservatives from blue states into red states.
Any sources/data?

Would be interested in it.
I'm guessing those moving consist largely of virtue signaling "moderates" (some dem, some rep) rather than hard left (not leaving) or hard right (were never there to begin with)
Think: people who should be conservative because they have jobs, families, etc. but are worried they'll be pushed off the island if they don't play the game.

I will say that the people I talk with here in PA that are moving to FL are red to the core. They have finally had enough now that the blue voters have let Philly become a cesspool and have moved to the burbs and are now destroying that starting at the school board level. The blue voters who are moving south from PA seem to be going to the Carolinas.

I know yankees and non-English speaking Puerto Ricans have nearly ruined Florida.
Florida voted for Obama twice.
It seems to have turned back to a Red State, but will it last?

Anecdotally speaking....I know about a dozen people that left California for Texas and Arizona. Most of them are not outspoken politically, but they are also all pretty obviously Trump supporters.
Yeah. You guys are a type. The lifted trucks, deep knowledge of handguns, American flags, and Carhart gear tend to give it away.

Cali conservatives are pretty well left of clinton.

I don't know, but I do know there is a 99.9% that whoever follows DeSantis will be a letdown.

Most CA people I meet that move here (Temple, TX, about 50 miles north of Austin) are red. That’s specific to the last 5 years.
Anybody who came here longer than that tend to be liberal.
The NY or Northeast people I meet are usually liberal no matter when they moved here.

How in the hell did so many get deceived voting for that fool? Lots of moderates did. Clay Travis is one. I mean sh!t, Obama basically told everyone he wanted to usher in socialism. He was an idiot that could talk a good game. That was it.
Then the republicans gave us shitty candidates to run against him.

I have two friends who moved here from California. Both are MAGA as shite and they are great friends. Glad to have them.

That’s just silly and you know it is. There are enough Cali based posters here to know better. Here’s some background on my Dad: he took out the establishment rinos in the Fresno County Republican Central Committee and did enough voter outreach to actually switch this county to Red in the 90s. He also worked on Alan Keyes two presidential bids and hosted him whenever he’d come to town.

Thank you for the topic. I would also love to see some data.

From the cars I’ve seen in north alabama I’d say it’s mostly folks who could no longer financially survive. Lots of personalized tags with their own name and similar stupid shite on old and new shot box cars.

IT influx into Texas is mostly Blue. IT people in "general" lean left more than right. Silicon Valley is exhibit one.
It will be a weird future when Texas is Blue and New York is Red (very slowing heading that way).

The California people moving to the Nashville area are turning it liberal fast.

The Texas republican party did a study on this as I recall and the majority of Cali transplants were to the right.

I moved for work recently, and I limited my search to red states. I hope other people are doing the same thing.
And if we hold the line, and pass conservative legislation, like Texas has done with abortion, perhaps we can push the Democrats out.
