You can thank the idiot retirees in the coastal counties for her win. Here's Graham's vote percentages there:
Horry: 73%
Georgetown: 68%
Charleston: 56%
Beaufort: 66%

Voter turnout was abysmal at only 12% yesterday. I won’t vote for the Democrat in November but I will skip over her and several others running who supported her and trashed Norman. I’ll just vote for Wilson and that’ll be it.

I still don’t know why her draw was in the lower state other than Trump said vote for her. The upstate / low state split was interesting to see

Trump not only endorsed her, he bullied Fry into doing the same thing and Russell bent the knee. I'm sad that he did that, given that he and I graduated from USC together and have been friends for 20 years. Norman was a miles-better candidate.
Think he’s being vindictive because Norman supported Haley in the 23 primary.

Ahh don’ know much about national security, but Ahh do support the military. They’ve got tanks, cannons and things…

That was a head scratcher on Norman’s part for sure. But honestly Trump threw away a sure vote in Norman who a lot of people liked for some dumbass woman with half a brain that who the hell knows how she’s going to vote after Trump leaves.

She has better odds to hold the seat, so good.

What makes her a loon?
She’s reciting the Progressive playbook in a conservative state like South Carolina. Abortion on demand? Check. Trans males in women’s sports? Check. She was specifically asked if her views were in alignment with the Democratic Socialists. She tap danced around an answer but didn’t deny that they were. Of course she wants Medicare for all. Her candidacy will work in a blue state because she is well spoken and having “Doctor” in front of her name does give her a certain amount of Gravitas. Her only hope is for Norman supporters to stay home and Graham to have another Miss South Carolina moment about something really important to South Carolina voters. I called her a loon because she put ideology before political viability in a state like SC.

She donated to Katrina Shealy's campaign. That's enough for me to vote against her.
