But circling back, neither side is innocent in this game. I cant say I blame the Dems if they play obstructionsit at this point given all that had gone in the past several years.

Agreed neither side is innocent.

Never said otherwise.

But you can EASILY look at the facts and see that this is unprecedented. I mean the Dems are actually refusing to negotiate on things they WANT just to obstruct Trump.

Just as a quick example, let's compare two SCOTUS nominations. Sotomayor and Gorsuch.

I think we can all agree that Sotomayor is further to the left than Gorsuch is to the right, but she was confirmed 68-31 with 8 Republicans voting yes.

Gorsuch had THREE Democrats support him, and two of those are barely Democrats.

THe others attacked the guy as being far right. I mean come on.

There are, of course, other examples.

And of course even with a minority and doing away with the filibuster there are ways the Democrats can slow crawl the nominations, and they ARE doing it.

...

That just sounds like Congress.

Anyway, here's WaPo's tracking of nominations (sorry, I tried to find additional sources, but no one else seems to have it summed up nearly so succinctly):

Uh, wasn't there an open seat on the Supreme Court for over a year?

It most assuredly is NOT "unprecedented". It's Washington on a Tuesday.

I'm confused why exactly did it take almost 3 months to get his deputy AG nominated that ended up being a 95-5 vote confirmation..?

A lot of his appointments took an unnecessarily long time to get appointed.
You are true in theory they can't filibuster but don't the nominees have to go through each committee approval as well? Which Dems are members of and can slow down.

Of course you could say well McConnell could just expedite the process but that wouldn't be very good PR wise.

And what is the mental state of YOUR national leader? If POTUS is not your president then you are not an American by definition. 1+1 is really tough math for Libtard Dims we all know.

Whoever it is, POTUS is living rent free all up in their dome!

Feel free to GTFO of the USA and go back to your own part of the world if the USA is so horrible. And take your filthy dirty family with you.

How about reality?

You liberal pieces of shite crack me up. Personally I hope yall never change. I thoroughly enjoy the endless reminders that normal Americans have rejected your nonsense in election after election.

The reality where judicial decisions often don't map onto the left-right spectrum at all? Let alone quantifiable to the extent of calling one judge "more left" than another is "more right"?

This plot was hatched about two weeks ago. LiberalMediaComplex will start pushing Trumps old age dementia, alzheimer's, and late night twitter somnambulism. Have fun sheeple.

Other, less stupid , people will note that I did not post "Sotomayor's rulings tend to be more to the left than Gorsuch's tend to be from the right"

Instead I merely pointed out that Sortamayor herself was more to the left than GOrsuch himself is to the right.

Words matter son, try using yours.
