It's weird that 99% of the media is obviously left leaning but the few that are conservative people come out and act like "ohhh they're just some right wing rag". They're no more of a tabloid than any other media these days

You just want to lump them all together as being tabloid- quality rather than to look at each based on its merits.
That has been a major part of Trump's populist propaganda since when he started. Disregard all media to disparage any and all criticism before it even gets started.
This strategy has served Trump well with his (mostly) gullible, unsophisticated followers.
