I clicked on a button that shared at least one person's full name. Obviously I am not going to ask if it was you, but just something to be wary of. One way to get around it would be to create a google account just for the sole purpose of posting these. I will leave it to you if you want to go that far.

Chrome,
On the link, data table is viewed but graphs are blank. If easier just go back to posting the image. We should all be able to zoom our screen to read.
And to everyone else, echoing what NY said, the real numbers will be determined retrospectively, so don’t get caught up in the day to day changes as the incubation period is so long and varied trends over 5-7 days will be more informative (this is something I have to remind myself as well).

Do you mind sharing his age with us? Sounds like mid career guy near his prime. Just curious

I understand the comparisons with seasonal flu, but would like to remind everyone the rates you see today with the flu are with an extensive and effective vaccination program in place and commercially available, effective anti-virals.
Sitting here today with COVID, we have neither of those 2 measures in place and the CFR in certain subgroups is near or over double digits.
We all are hoping in 2-3 years time this is thought of as another seasonal virus, but during this acute period, where the CFR is evolving, we just ain’t there yet.
Really sad scenario is in a few years time the new CFR is really low because it already killed most of the susceptible population.

This is the first test run of the new tracker that I have shared on Google Drive.
Chromdome's COVID-19 Daily Tracker
There are a lot more graphs available at the link above

Assuming that is even you, it is a supremely common name, but I also saw "Chromedome" as the Google account name, so just keep using that and you should be fine.

Does anyone know how to make images appear side by side on PT to consume less real estate?

That stinks. If he is in NY hopefully he is early enough to access uncompromised care.
Also, the anti-malaria drugs have their on issues/ side effects, and without good data it’s anyone’s guess whether to use or not.
Prayers and happy thoughts to him.

On the daily growth rates, are we seeing regional outbreaks affecting the growth percentage rates?
IOW, the outbreak in Washington is fading up until the 16th and then New York kicks in?
Could we see spikes in that data as regional outbreaks continue? Probably.

The short version is that his hospital is not a hotbed of Covid 19 activity in the big picture of things. So I feel good about the ability of the hospital to focus their efforts on him.

This is what I was getting at yesterday. I would love to see individualized data long term. At the moment I can only see individual states for today and yesterday.

I have added a couple of tabs to the tracker to show Italy's progression. I can't find any historical data for Italy's serious cases if you come across that let me know.
It has the same graphs as the US.
I plan to do the same for the UK, Germany, and Spain as I have time.

Adding a useful link here. I had not seen it posted in this thread but anticipate this group may appreciate these numbers.
Look at page 19 for the US model.
It is probably the best graphic I have seen to illustrate what the surge (peaks) could be and the lack of capacity at present (red line). So this is why they are talking about new tent cities and respirators being made by Tesla/GM.
