Also depends on how the deaths are counted (of vs. with)

Hope you are right. Florida reports just under 10,000 new cases, 49 deaths. It’s been nearly 3 weeks since their spike started. I would have thought we would have seen the death toll jump by now.

And Arizona goes down from 117 to 36.

I can’t believe I overlooked Arizona lookin through the numbers. I guess Cali will be the other big one to watch. 118 yesterday.

I think you will see a lot of deaths from the weekend being reported today still.

Honestly might have to wait till next Monday to really see where we're at.

Louisiana Dept of Health Coronavirus

Here's where I get my information...

quote:

Chromedome, I keep an eye on Louisiana and compute two stats...

death rate of cases reported, which continues to drop, my calculation is 4.8% today

percentage of tests performed to cases reported, which is 8.1% today...

I'm going to track this for a week or so and post daily...

So for Tuesday 7 July...death rate of cases reported, 4.7%; tests performed to cases reported 8.05%

For Wednesday, 8 July - death rate of cases reported, still at 4.7%; tests performed to cases reported 8.1%

Last Wednesday was 701, correct? Looks like we should stay below or around that number.

So as of today do we think we are in a death spike in terms of the national number?

I have to ask are we being manipulated again? They know we are going by deaths now. Why have the northeast states past the pandemic for a good while having so many deaths for so few cases?

California and Texas are going to be big. Might not get them all in on time though.

Harder to fake deaths, but they can pump those cases real easy.

We've seen you can fake deaths. Any sickness can die from COVID.

Or throw past cases into recent days.
