Cases down for the 3rd day in a row, deaths Up over yesterday, but yesterday was Sunday, Testing down to 135K, Mortality Flat for the 6th day in a row, % positive rate up but still showing the downward trend.
The 7 day average trend for both cases and deaths is downward.
Things are going in the right direction.

As always, appreciate the work and analysis on this.
One question on the tests given. I’m noticing that the COVID tracking project numbers are different than your spreadsheet.
I’m guessing I’m misunderstanding something but when I’m on their page and click “totals for the US” I see 190k on the “new tests” column for today. Is that referencing something different than the 135k number you mentioned?

Lowest number of daily new cases since March 29 (though March 30 had only one more than today).

Lowest deaths in 3 weeks (other than yesterday, but Sunday is always under reported) and lowest new cases in 4 weeks.
Testing still close to 200k/day.

Today will be the "money" day - certainly we would expect (not hope for) a spike as we have experienced coming out of previous weekends, but how high the spike is (particularly new cases) may determine if we have merely weeks or months left of this thing.

Even with the Tuesday bump, the number of deaths today is higher than I expected. @ 2469 it's only 214 below last week and it's 97 below 2 weeks ago.
