Curiously, I looked ahead to potential US World Cup matches. July 6th could be a doozy.

The USA is already locked into their match on July 1st vs some 3rd place team.
If they win that match, and the current first place team in Group G advances to the July 6th match, it would be..
The US vs Iran.
If they win that match, and the current first place team in Group G advances to the July 6th match, it would be..

It would be amazing if the US won their 3rd match, but I am not holding my breath. Still going to cheer for the red, white, and blue though. This is the furthest that we ever gotten in the World Cup. Even if we lose. Team USA has a lot of be proud of.
