I'm thinking this guy for sure was vaccinated and nobody has said anything about it.

Wouldn't it be interesting if his vaccination led to him collapsing on the pitch?!

Wouldn't it be interesting if you got better hobbies than starting useless threads on Tiger Droppings?

It’s anything but a useless topic. Let me guess, should OP also get over it, deal with it, and move on?

I had more interesting hobbies, but I've already worn your mom out for today. So, now it's time to start a thread.

Wish I could get vaccinated and two weeks later win the U.S. Open. That would be cool.

Word (unconfirmed, admittedly) is that he received the vaccine two weeks prior to collapsing. I follow soccer pretty closely and read up on Inter Milan. Take that for what’s it worth.

At the time he dropped it was rumoured he was vaxed 12 days before. This was just internet gossip though.

It is interesting how they are actively avoiding discussing vaccine talk around his condition though.

ehhh. Its sad but it happens. Remember Hank Gathers? Or the handfull of young kids who die playing Football from similar circumstances?

Between and undiagnosed condition, and whatever else he might be taking to help, its hard to say it was something as simple as just a vaccine. The fact they were able to bring him back was nothing short of a miracle and should be celebrated!

Giuseppe Marotta said he didn't have COVID nor did he receive the vaccine. Undiagnosed heart issues aren't exactly uncommon with soccer players, with a number of players having cardiac arrest on the field, like Piermario Morosini and Fabrice Muamba.

OP started a thread for a random thought.

Yikes. Some people (you) are very emotionally invested in the outcome. Needing people to stop discussing a subject because you are afraid of the truth isn't a good look.

Like another poster has said, this has already been answered and this thread’s tone in regards to hope of the two being connected is in extremely poor taste.

Also we haven't heard much else from Hank Aaron. I know he was much older, but it was dismissed that he had just received the vaccine and died shortly after.

Well if you follow Soccer closely you'd know that a shocking number of players have collapsed & died on the Pitch. This has been going on decades before Covid vaccines.

I'm not a Soccer fan , but I can give you an exhaustive list of Soccer players who have died / collapsed .

It’s a valid question, if he was or wasn’t given the shot.

Do we know?

No it wouldn’t be interesting.

I am not overly concerned about short-term side effects.

That being said, if what you suggested were the case, there is absolutely NO CHANCE that the information is ever released. It was a high profile moment that would bring a ton of negative press (unwarranted at this time imho). The powers that be would simply never allow for that to occur imho. As such, you would never know and would never have the option of finding it to be “interesting.”
