I had my 1st Cracker Barrel experience last week. My 93 year old MIL wanted chicken & dumplins for her BDay. Got there about 5:30. I ordered the Thur special Turkey & Dressing & the waitress said "We out of that" ok out of the the main feature dish of the day. So I ordered Country Fried Steak w mashed potatoes. Waitress said "We out of mashed potatoes"

The one in BR is garbage. Twice i have gone there and sat for minutes without anyone coming to the table, and eventually got up and left without anyone having ever even come to get drink orders.
Because they're more educated, they know what their clientele needs. It doesn't matter what they want.
