The states that did worse early did better later. That indicates the virus took out the low hanging fruit in those states and still had a larger population of vulnerable people available in the states that did better before the vax.
You also need to control for the number of olds and fats in each state to see how the state should have done.

Sorry to tell you this Broseph, but those numbers are not real, so they mean absolutely nothing.
My dad had a heart attack at the beginning of Covid. They brought him to the hospital. He immediately tested negative for Covid. He coded 4 times before he died, and tested negative for Covid 5 times.
They put Covid as his cause of death. My mom called the coroner to ask why. She was told that anything that was not a gunshot was marked down as death by covid.

my wife is a teacher, so knows all about how school age kids were effected by COVID. Again, are you denying children were effected by COVID shutdowns? If so, why?
