From the tactical point of view, looks like Russian is doing the thing it planned to do.
0). This attack is well planned:
1. It's quite obvious that Russia planned on having control of the air on day. That has not happened yet.
2. This attack is not going to plan or else Putin would not be raising the alert level of his nuclear forces.
3. If this attack is well planned and going according to plan; why did Russian troops start running out of food on day 2 of the operation?

2). It is trying to encircling the Ukrainian armies in the eastern front. That is why you are seeing logistical issues. To encircle the army, speed is the key.
1. Speed is key, but it's almost day 6 of the war and Kyiv is less than 100 miles from the Belarusian border and Kharkiv is less than 60 miles from the Russian border. Neither city are completely encircled yet. That is not exactly a speedy advance.
2. If logistics are a problem then that shows a lack of planning and/or execution on the Russians part. This is not like desert storm in 1991 where the the attacking force had to try and keep its forces supplied through a desert with very few roads. There are multiple 2 lane and 4 lane highways heading toward Kyiv from the borders for the Russians to use and yet their supply convoys are still taking over 24 hours to move a few kms. That is not a problem caused by the spearhead out running its supplies. That is a problem of the supply people not being prepared and/or incompetent.
3. The Ukrainians are blowing up bridges as they retreat but even people with no military experience like me knew that the Ukrainians would do that (I said as much back in early January). If I could have predicted it, why didn't the Russian leaders? Why didn't they have engineers ready with pontoon bridges or the modern Russian form of the Bailey bridge ready to go?

Since FB/Twitter has blocked a lot info from Russian side, you are seeing more info twisted pro-Ukrainian.
Facebook and Twitter might have blocked Russian sources but TASS, RT, and Pravda are all still easily accessible by simply searching for them.
