Are you in a cult?
Nah, I just don't associate with those kind of people.

Over the years my belief system based on critical thinking skills has made most of them ignore me.

Yea it would be easy for me

I could, but I would not. I have a daughter (no pics) living in Seattle. We don’t have much contact which is her choice. She is my “prodigal” daughter.

Already have. I finally decided a while back they're not worth my energy so I decided I actually don't gaf what they think nor should I. Besides most are never gonna come around anyway, just too far gone.

Nah, no need. They’re stupid but they are still family.

Already have cut off some. Continually wanted to spout bullshite with nothing but feelings to back them up, emotional jellyfish. I couldn’t be around them for long before going on the fact check attack unmercifully. Not worth it

Could you cut off liberal friends/family if it came down to it?
Easily.

Family, never unless it's some cousin-in-law.
These are the sort of people who were more than willing to rat out their Jan 6 family members for simply being in DC on Jan 6. Many were turned in by their siblings, parents, or children. You have to get comfortable with the reality that you will likely need to cut these people off at some point, for your own protection and safety.

If I have a lib family member I’m not mentally ill enough to “cut them off” because of it

I have gone months without speaking to my liberal wacko parents. It’s not ideal, but it’s not hard.

Nah! We need to get back to simpler times where none of this political theater matters, but that ain’t happening. This political shitshow we witness daily is all by design.
I think most folks that aren’t extreme left/right are generally reasonable people and I can deal with this.

No, I'm better than that. Anyways, they cut me off first.

Absolutely. Once it hits you that it has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with morals. It hit me like a ton of bricks when DJT had COVID and 80/yo mother, brother and two sisters wished him death on social media. It was never so clear. They have lost their way. It is a choice between good and evil. Light vs darkness. Cut them all off 5 years ago. I don't need that kind of toxic negativity in my life.

You don't have to worry. They'll block you and cut you off first. That's their MO

It's awesome. If we could all be this way, we'd have a lot fewer problems.
