You have no idea what "small government" means, do you?

If you're about to try to explain why 19 state AG's "warning" a publicly held, private sector company about it's policies, that do not violate any state or federal laws, doesn't constitute government interference, then don't bother.

FIFY

I don’t care what color or sex a person is, as long as they are actually effective at their job.

However, when “gender,” sexuality, and race are the basis for the hires, and merit no longer matters, then you get this:

Point taken.

I would rather just cancel my membership.

They are basically Bud Light as far as I’m concerned.

Okay well do it

At this point I value how they treat me as a customer over whatever their internal DEI policy is.

Glad to see people still unbothered by racial and gender discrimination as long as they themselves get treated well.

You are comparing retail workers in a private sector business with a high ranking position in a government agency. When it comes to making sure wildfires don't burn down chunks of the countries second largest city, then I agree with your war against DEI. When it involves whether the rotisserie chicken is continuously restocked and if the chocolate chip cookies are not soft enough, I don't think it matters.

DEI for high skill positions is bad and can be dangerous to the public. DEI in a mind numbing retail job that most people are over qualified for does not bother me.

These Costco pricks were the first to the "no mask no service" charge back in June 2020

Good timing for us as our renewel came up when this did. Also I had noticed a lot of their prices jumped considerably recently so I'm fine without them.

My parents shop there. They got rid of Netflix, because of their politics. My Mom text me they were having Costco Pizza. I said that sounds good I like Communist Pizza. No response.

Costco has managerial roles as well. DEI is simply racism and sexism being implemented by racists.

DEI is wrong conceptually, regardless of the job being discussed.

WRONG

98% of their shares voted for it. Vast majority of shares are owned by MFs, EFTs, Pension funds, etc...and the actual owners of these funds give PROXY to the financial firms that manage them (Pro-American juggernaut Blackrock and Goldman are a few examples)

Bingo!
How about when $30/hr is the offer for shelf stockers and warehouse blue-coller new hires?
