Then lets cut some bloated entitlement programs that hardly serve the middle class.
Yeah, like all those annual billions in tax credits and subsidies for big corporations.

Q: When was the last time in the income tax era where tax cuts led to less Federal revenue?
It.
Has.
Never.
Happened.

What's really a riot is now that the Republicans/conservatives are back in power, suddenly, the federal deficit and the national debt aren't a big problem anymore. Funny thing is when the Republicans are OUT of power, the national debt is the number one issue they holler about. Typical hypocritical conservatives - do and say anything just to get elected.

Win an election then you run the country.
I would rather corporations have every dime they make than give a penny to you leeches. Take your communist loving selves to any commie country.
Welfare should have an expiration date. Same for food stamps. Get a job or die. Simple as that. Bye Felicia.

You talking deficits or spending?
This is a great example of how easily confused liberals get on fiscal matters. Obviously, the poster was referring to accumulated debt. Hakeem had no idea and assumed he was just talking about spending.

Well then....Let's immediately cut ALL foreign aid, all food stamps, all welfare, all Obamaphones, all Obamacare subsidies, all Medicaid and all corporate welfare. These programs should remain suspended and before they are reinstated, they should be reviewed to see if they are necessary.

Spending costs money.
That's the only thing that ever costs money.
Not collecting taxes is not spending money.

Why do you guys keep spewing this crap?
The deficit projections you guys keep whining about are estimated from static projections that don't account for dynamic changes in the economy.
They don't account for consumer confidence.
They don't account for increased R&D and business spending.
They don't account for increased labor participation.
They don't account for increased wages.
They don't account for increased consumer spending.
They don't account for increased infrastructure spending.
They don't account for increased production efficiency and innovation.
They don't account for reduced regulations.
They don't account for reduced energy costs as we become more energy independent.
They don't account for repatriation of trillions of overseas dollars.
They don't account for elimination of trade deficits.
They don't account for US increasing exports.
They don't account for near 4% GDP growth even though that's what we're about to be running at.
And they do not account for the compounding effects of all these things when combined.
I mean Jesus Christ, if not for a couple hurricanes and forest fires, Trump would have already spent under budget and lowered the National Debt by a couple hundred billion in just his first year in office.
You idiot Lefties are the biggest goddamn crybabies on the planet and the most horrible human beings to ever exist.

Tax burden reduction is not a cost.
Spending is a cost on the budget.
C'mon people.

Good. Time to cut spending by 3 trillion.

The only way the trillion proposed giveaway to the rich works is to end medicare and social security for the young.

Are liberals pretending to give a shite about spending now
If conservatards really cared about national debt and overspending, they'd do something with G.W. Bush's prescription drug bill that was never paid for, and is STILL not paid for. Conservatives are hypocrites when it comes to fiscal responsibility. If they weren't, they'd pay for this tax scam bill they're fixing to pass that will mostly go to their wealthy donors.

The republicans that support things like the Bush prescription plan are not conservatives. It is the majority moderates and RINOs.

Assuming government spending stays the same. Tax bill passes and agencies and programs are about to get slashed faster than cute blondes in a horror movie.
Posted on 12/18/17 at 1:53 pm to Prince_Hakeem
I can't believe how wrong most of the reporting on this tax bill is. The media apparently doesn't know the difference between the deficit and the debt.
Even if it just adds $1.5T to the DEFICIT, it will add over $8T to the DEBT which would be on par with Obama.

So that where we are huh? Still blaming G.W. almost 9 years removed, but yet no blame for Obama less than 1 year removed? Who was in the White House during the 2015 to 2016 addition of 1.4 trillion of debt?....
